Folking Art in the Henryton Tunnel

Sometimes you find folking art in the least likely places.

We took a hike a couple years ago, walking down the train tracks as we'd seen another hiker doing as we parked at what looked like a trail head for one of the McKeldin portions of the Patapsco Valley State Park.

We ended up not in the park, but at the old Henryton hospital which was torn down the following week. We passed through this tunnel to get there. And it had the most beautiful folking graffiti I've ever seen, all aged along with the brick.  The tunnel was built in 1903.
